The weather is getting warmer, the days are getting longer - Spring is finally here! I’m annoying the neighbors playing 90s country songs with my uke on the porch. And wonder of wonders, the Peach Truck - one of the few things I miss from my Southern Exile - is coming to WV! Life is good - or at least that’s what I tell myself to distract from the dumpster fire literally everywhere.
Yesterday was the first annual West Edge Literary Festival. I’ve been excited about this since about October of last year, being on the planning committee. It was a real treat to meet so many authors and hear them read their work. I also got to host a panel about zines and give my Zines 101 workshop. BTW, if you know any group that might enjoy my Zines 101 talk and workshop, send them my way!
I was also part of the My Bloody Valentine art show hosted by Most Exalted in February. That was an awesome experience, and I ended up with three titles to show for it:
Disco 3000 #2: Common People
he took the good stuff and ran
An Aging Millennial Punk’s Guide to Love and Wedding Planning
All available on my Etsy shop if you’re so interested.
I’ve got some good stuff lined up for the upcoming year, so hope to see y’all at some point!
Take care,
Elliott W. Stewart-Sundahl
